Zerbimek closed for vacations

We are about to finish the month of July, and this means that the vacations are about to arrive.

After an intense period of work that has allowed us to increase our efficiency, responding to a greater volume of work than last year at this time.

We would like to inform you that our machining company will be closed from August 8th to August 19th, both included.

ZERBIMEK invited to the conference organized by UPV and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa

On July 8, we were invited to participate in the conference “Ambidextrous Company, new paradigm for management” organized by the UIK (Udako Ikastaroak), UPV – University of the Basque Country and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.

The conference was led by Iker Estensoro – General Director of Economic Promotion at the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa. Together with Alain Vivas from ZERBIMEK participated, Marcos Urarte – PHAROS, Sonia Ortubai – Abantail, Mikel Orobengoa – ISEA S.COOP, Maria Carpenter – Institut Mines-Télécom Business School – Mark Greeven – Institute for Management Development.

Considering the relevance of the conference and the quality of the speakers, for our machining company, this invitation was an opportunity to learn from other companies and the management models they use.

On the other hand, we would also like to highlight the opportunity that the organizers have given us by betting on our machining company, since access to this type of events is not usual for SMEs like ours, which represent a large part of our business fabric.

Once again, we would like to thank the organizers, speakers and attendees for this day in which we could all share and learn from others.

XIII Subcontracting Meeting in the Chamber of Commerce

On Wednesday 8 June, the Chamber of Commerce hosted more than 275 meetings between 100 companies from Europe and Gipuzkoa, ZERBIMEK being one of them.

This European industrial subcontracting meeting has been held for 13 years now at the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce, with the aim of helping companies from Gipuzkoa to diversify their markets.

The event was divided into two days. On the first day, 8 June, more than 100 companies, buyers and subcontractors met at the headquarters of the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce to organise more than 275 sessions lasting around 30 minutes. The following day, 9 June, the buyers visited more than 50 companies in the region. The aim of these visits is to showcase the potential and quality of industrial companies in Gipuzkoa.

The buyers and subcontractors who attended the event came from European countries, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Finland, Belgium and Spain. These companies work in the Automotive, Railway, Aeronautics, Energy and Manufacturers of different capital goods sectors. Sectors in which CNC machining is very present and is a crucial subcontracting process.

Once again, we continue advancing on the process of diversification and obtaining new customers both nationally and internationally.

ZERBIMEK invited to the conference organised by Tknika and ADEGI.

Last Friday 27th May we were invited to the conference organised by Tknika and ADEGI – Business Association of Gipuzkoa.

This conference was defined under the following title:

“How VET (Tknika) can help you in the growth of your company?”

And what better than ZERBIMEK as a case study, given that our project began its journey with the help of Tknika’s Urratsbat programme.

The objectives of the conference were as follows:

1.- To get to know Tknika and its value proposition with a focus on companies.

2.- How can Tknika help emerging companies in the training of the talent they need?

3.- How can Tknika create collaborative projects for product and process innovations in companies? TKgune.

4.- Incorporate one or two testimonials from entrepreneurs who have used Tknika’s services.

It is in this last section where we have been most present, since, as mentioned above, our company had the opportunity to receive the advisory services of the Urratsbat programme.

ZERBIMEK on the French market

It has been almost a year and a half since we started  the internationalization of ZERBIMEK on the Frech market. After many months of work, we already have French customers, thus strengthening our presence in another new market.

A couple of days ago we had the opportunity to present our own experience in this internationalization process. ADEGI – Association of Companies of Gipuzkoa and the Chamber of Gipuzkoa organized a practical day to help start-up companies to access international markets.

ZERBIEMEK and the “Aloñako XVII.igoera

We are delighted to announce that we are sponsors of the “Aloñako XVII.igoera”.

After being cancelled in 2020 and held for the last time in October 2021, the Ascensión de Aloña will resume its usual schedule and will take place next Sunday (1 May 2022). 300 runners will take the start of the 22.6 km course.
