Strengthening our production capacity

At Zerbimek, we continue to advance in our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. In recent months, we have taken a very important strategic step to strengthen our production and competitive capacity: the introduction of two new Lagun Machinery machining centres and the automation of one of them with the Nachi MZ12 robot. Both the machining centres and the robot are now operational at our facilities.

LAGUN 5-AXIS EVZ630 MACHINING CENTRE

The first of these pieces of equipment is the Lagun 5-axis EVZ630 machining centre. This is a high-precision machine designed for the manufacture of complex and large parts, allowing us to expand our design possibilities and reduce machining times. With travel distances of 850 mm on the X-axis, 820 mm on the Y-axis and 610 mm on the Z-axis, it is capable of working with parts up to 750 mm in diameter and 450 mm in height. Its rapid feeds and range of rotation on the A axis reinforce the machine’s ability to adapt to demanding parts in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, rail, industrial and capital goods.

LAGUN L850 MACHINING CENTRE WITH AUTOMATED ROBOT

At the same time, we have introduced a LAGUN L850 machining centre with an automated loading and unloading system using NACHI’s MZ12 robot, integrated with GarantBasic technology.
This system represents a major leap forward in terms of productivity and resource optimisation, as it allows the machine to work more autonomously, freeing up our team to focus on tasks with greater added value. The robot has six axes, a horizontal reach of up to 1,454 mm and a load capacity of up to 10 kg. It also offers protection against dust and splashes, ensuring reliability even in demanding working environments.

With these investments, at Zerbimek we are strengthening our production capacity and taking another step forward in improving our processes. All of this is in line with our commitment to the values that define us: always offering the highest quality to our customers and maintaining a constant commitment to innovation.

2025 Gipuzkoa New Business Award

At Zerbimek, we are in celebration mode. On May 29th, during the Business Day organised by Adegi and held at Fabrika, we were awarded the 2025 Gipuzkoa New Business Award. For the entire team, this recognition is a source of great pride and an incentive to continue growing with the same enthusiasm with which we started.

This award recognises the potential of young companies in Gipuzkoa and, for us, it is a huge motivation to continue working with enthusiasm and commitment. Since we started in 2014, when we were just one person, we have grown to more than 30, investing in technology, expanding our capabilities and taking firm steps towards internationalisation. All this has been possible thanks to the shared effort of those of us who make up Zerbimek. We know that this recognition is not an end, but the beginning of a new stage in which we want to continue improving and growing, always with our eyes set on the future.

We would like to thank Adegi for trusting us, our customers for continuing to support Zerbimek and, most especially, all our colleagues who make this project possible every day.

Subcontracting Fair 2025

From June 3 to 5, we are present at the Subcontracting Fair, held at the BEC – Bilbao Exhibition Centre, a benchmark fair in the machining sector, with exhibitors and visitors both national and international.

Once again, we are excited to be part of this important event, where we present our CNC machining solutions, showing our commitment to precision, efficiency and quality in each of the production processes in which we participate.

We are located in Hall 3, Stand F06, and we will be delighted to welcome both companies we already collaborate with and new contacts interested in learning more about what we do. It is an excellent opportunity to create synergies, share knowledge and discover new opportunities for collaboration.
